Museum Members: Mark your calendars for Member Preview Night, on May 7!
The Columbus Museum’s members are invited to join us in-person for an exclusive first look at Quilts from the Collection of Paul M. Goggans, Part 1.
The quilts on display, created by residents of the Lower Chattahoochee Valley over 80 years ago, reflect popular patterns, colors, and fabrics of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Attendees will be able to peruse the new installation, participate in an art-making activity, and check out the rest of the Museum after hours. Starting at 6:30 PM, members will have the opportunity to hear from the Museum’s Curator of History and Exhibitions Manager Rebecca Bush and local, full-time quilter Cathy Fussell. You won’t want to miss their insights and expertise, so be sure to mark your calendar today!
