The Columbus Museum is a place to come together and learn, explore, and create together. Beginning with our popular infant classes and continuing through the teen years, we have something to appeal to young people of all ages.
Upcoming Youth & Family Events
For ages 6-24 months, each session explores a different theme, includes playtime in the galleries as well as an art activity for children and their caregivers to complete together.
Children ages 2-4 years and their caregivers will love these interactive classes! Look at art, make something, and help your child develop their inner artist.
Parent & Child Workshops
These art-making workshops give families an opportunity to work with an art instructor while exploring different mediums.
Stop by during our annual Fall Fest or February Festival and participate in a variety of art-making activities, go on a gallery scavenger hunt, participate in a museum tour and more! Community partners provide additional activities and food trucks provide an opportunity to take a break outdoors.
This drop-in program occurs during school Winter Break and Spring Break. Families are invited to drop into the Studio to experiment with different materials to complete projects inspired by the Museum’s collection.
These camps give children the opportunity to learn about through lessons in the Studio, hands-on art projects, and daily gallery walks. Each camp culminates with an exhibition of each camper’s artwork. Camps are offered for ages 4-13 years.
Teen events include a variety of activities including art-making workshops, trivia events, pop-culture-themed events, and more! All events are planned by the Museum’s Teen Advisory Group.
