Talk of the Town: Conversation Starters from the Collection
Opening June 29, 2019 Woodruff Gallery
Conversation has the capacity to connect strangers, to foster romance, and to prevent conflict. As the world grows smaller and we become more conscious of our place in a global culture, visual art and historical artifacts offer subjects around which to gather and dialogue. This exhibition presents a selection of “conversation starters” to prompt just such in-person exchanges.
This exhibition is generously sponsored by the Landrum Educational Endowment Fund.
