Lillian Smith: Breaking the Silence Q&A
Join us for a Q&A session about Hal and Henry Jacobs' film, Lillian Smith: Breaking the Silence, and learn more about this outspoken civil rights activist in the Jim Crow South. Speakers include the filmmakers; Nick Norwood, Director of the Carson McCullers Center for Writers and Musicians; and Patricia Bell-Scott, women's studies scholar and 2017 recipient of the Lillian Smith Book Award. The discussion will be moderated by Rebecca Bush, Curator of History at the Columbus Museum. The film will be available for screening on August 8-15, 2020.
